McNaughton and Schiavoni parks will be closed at least through, "sometime next week," according to Swatara Township Police.

McNaughton Park was in the direct flood path of Swatara Creek and has taken on significant amounts of water.

The creek was already four feet above normal levels when the hurricane hit, which contributed to the death of a man last weekend, as Daily Voice reported at the time.

The creek is one of several creeks in the area that over flowed during the hurricane, but it is one of the few that have yet to crest.

It is estimated that the creek has risen over 11 feet, according to local officials.
